Description:
100 (ish) South Park NewIcons (32colour)
How it was done:
Created using image from the SouthPark website created by Chris
Pirillo
http://www.beef-cake.com/
All images use the standard 32 colour Newicons palette. They
were done in PPaint (free from AmigaFormat) and were compilied
painfully slowly with the injectbrush command and allot of effort.
The brushes used are available if you want, from myself. If allot
of people ask I'll put them on aminet too, but I'm not too sure where
I stand on the copyright issue.
CopyRight:
South Park is copyright to someone, I've got no hold on these images
and stand to gain NO money from them. Hopefully the people who own
them aren't arsy as far as copyright goes. I admire they're
achievements and work, the last thing I'd want would be to rubbish
that. Hopefully these icons are in the same vein and style, therefore
not rubbishing or mocking their creators.
Installation:
Use the tool CopyNewIcon to manually copy them. Sorry I don't know how
to create an installation script. (if you do, and would like to let
me know, please do)
Registration:
Nothing! These icons were made for myself, if other people use them
it doesn't bother me. Of course, I'd like a bit of acknowlegdment.
If you do use the and like them, tell me. I suppose this is really
EMail-ware. I little note saying how cool they are, or how to improve
them would be nice. My email address is at the top.
In the Future:
If I had access to more of the same pictures I could create icons
for everything else. At the moment I've only got one image for things
like the mayor or sparky the gay dog, making it hard for me to do
too much with them. I'd also like to be able to make them look better.
Sometimes the pen allocation would be wrong and they'd look stupid.
Without knowledge of how it all works I've got no chance. ( contact me
with your suggestions )
Other SP things:
At the moment I've also created SouthPark "victims" for the game
Armchair assasins 2 (RevengeAGA) by Simon Hitchen. They should be
available on aminet in the games/data section. If not I can email
them to you.
Other Projects:
If you have anymore time to spare I have published two websites.
My local usergroup, Coventry and Warwick Commodore Computer Club and
FFS Pd Company, the company that I have been establishing over the
last 12 months. They are both quite cool, quick to down-load and full
of usefull info. Also including regional information of many types.
