A really spaced out trip, this time, from B.C. Productions ...
Name of this composition: "Asteroid Trip 808"
Style: Trippy acid 808 dance music
Influences: A lot of the oldstyle electro, such as
Kraftwerk ... and a lot of the old style
hip hop (just a tad bit, least in the rythmic
working) ... Also, influences come from the
classic Atari arcade game ... :)
This one is very, very DEEP. Like, whoa. The 808 kick rumbles your
speakers. The other classic 808 instruments (cowbell, stick, snare)
create a weird ambience, as do the Asteroid Laser sample. And if that
wasn't enough ... a classic guest sample vocal by Darth Vader really makes
it sound weird.
And now, for the obligatory credits:
Saraba, Lindy, Everyone on #amigacafe undernet
for being my #1 fan club
RS3, No Affiliation ... NoAff is gonna be a
big thing, I can feel it. :)
Boris, of the Weekly Module Review ... what
an EXCELLENT idea. Check it out at

Atari, for creating the classic Asteroids game
Darth Vader, for providing the vox sample.
(James Earl Jones rules all!!!)
