This is a 3270-telnet client for access to tcp-enabled IBM-hosts.
The ported version is 3.2.16.
Required software:
- a working TCP-stack such as AmiTCP
- the AmiWin-X11 software package
Installation:
- Extract the the archive to a directory of your choice.
- It is required that you copy the file "unix_files/x3270.xad" to
your AmiWin-installation as "x11:lib/x11/app-defaults/X3270".
- To install the emulator-fonts, copy the "unix_files/#?.bdf"-files to
the AmiWin-installation as "x11:lib/x11/fonts/3270/#?.bdf". To use
them, you will need to run x11:bin/mkfontdir from within the fonts/3270-
directory and add the fonts/3270-directory to the AWOPTIONS-file in
ENVARC:AMIWIN/AWOPTIONS and ENV:AMIWIN/AWOPTIONS, too, if not rebooting.

the AmiWin-documentation.
Usage:
- Start the application named "x3270" from a command line and make
sure that at least 100000 bytes of stack are available.
example:
"cd x11apps/x3270"
"stack 150000"
"x3270"
Support:
It's not a complete port, and some parts of the application might not
function. However, this port is not under continued development. The
source is included in the amiga_src-directory, so you can fix problems
that might occur on your own.
