XTRU allows you to install all third party tracks straight into your game 
directory while converting them from one type to the other, Which is 
only of real use for older versions of the game. But XTRU can also 
crunch the track files and all files associated with each track while 
installing, Also while XTRU installs any new track it checks to make sure 
all graphics files are available. If files are found to be missing the track 
will be moved into a "STORAGE" directory ready to be checked next 
time you install new tracks. XTRU  has many other features available for 
XTreme Racing fans. Please note that the "CRUNCH" function is disabled 
until you register, which is free!
