· What is it and what it does

	APatch is a small patch that replaces some OS functions with
        faster and 020+ optimized ones. Although you may not notice any
        difference... Due to the fact that some of the system IO routines
        are patched to execute faster, one can't measure their speed
        properly without hiting the hardware directly...

    · FasterForbid

    and probably more (sooner or later)

· How it works

	Apatch was made in a such way that it allocates a few hundred
        bytes, patches functions to point to that allocated area then quits.

· Why?

        Because it's a speedup patch not another patch that would waste
        the precious CPU time.
