CPU 060 Control
---------------
This utility can be used to have basic control over the 68060's cache
modes. Requires Phase5's Cpu060 command. The phase5 Cpu060 command may
work on other 060 boards, I have no idea. If so, you can use this
program on those systems too.
Requirements:
-------------
- An Amiga
- OS 3.x+
- A real 060 Processor
- Phase5's Cpu060 command (binary file)
Usage:
------
1) Make sure the Cpu060 command is in your system paths. Such as
C: for example.
2) Run it from CLI or Workbench
You will be presented with a requester with three options:
a) 060 Default - All Caches On. (System Boot default)
b) Stock A1200 - Instruction cache on, all others off. Also sets
the instruction cache to 1/2 of it's original size. This
setting will help improve game compatabilty by quite a bit.
c) All Caches Off - Does just what it says. Now watch your 060 run like an
030 :). Usefull if real old software refuses to run
properly.
