             v2.03  This mod can't be played in
             Cubic Player.  I'd say FT2 only...

             The XM itsself is some mega whompin'
             hardcore techno mess.  But it may sound a
             bit agressive for some.  I've been meaning
             to do this mod for a while now as a protest
             to the new rating system in DemoNews.

Message to all:
             I don't like the way songs are rated simply
             because it's individual.  Like I used to
             love Demomusic.  But I listened to it too
             much and got tired of it and now I don't
             even like most demomusic at all.  But
             some people do of course.  What I'm trying
             to say is I think the quickratings of new
             music in DemoNews should be abolished.
             People have different tastes, styles, etc.
             I don't like seeing the things I write
             get lower ratings just because they aren't
             mainstream.  I'm not writing to compete.
             I'm writing because I love tracking mods.
             I'm sure there are plenty of armchair
             trackers out there like me who want nothing
             more than a creative outlet.  I've heard
             some great tunes that got low ratings and
             really lame tunes (to me anyway) that got
             good ratings just because I have a different
             opinion (don't we all?) of what I like.
             And though maybe we're not all KFMF, Mazurka,
             Defiance material, that doesn't mean
             that the mods are any less enjoyable.
             I'm sure lots of non-trackers will disagree
             and say that the quickrates give them a nice
             reference so they don't have to sort through
             the daily flood of new songs. (that's what
             I thought at first myself)  But now I see
             it only as a means of limiting the cause of
             tracking.  Anyway, I digress.. the long and
             short of it is that hey you at DN! this modz
             fer U!  And I'm not going to stop tracking
             until it is no longer fun for me.  And to
             others who feel the same just don't let
             ratings get you down.  I respect everybody's
             work even whenI think it's crap.  And
             personally, I love the fact that I can get
             tons of new and quite eclectic mods from
             people who like making very different tunes
             from the norm.. (like me! :)  So whatever,
             keep on tracking!
