HD_examine version 1.0 allows examination and changing of
any sector of a hard disk device connected to a SCSI bus.
The program is a GUI-based utility requiring AmigaDOS 2.04
or later.

Any sector of any drive may be examined, edited, and
written.  This is NOT a binary FILE editor -- it works
strictly with block numbers and is primarily intended for
examining and (carefully) altering rigid disk boot blocks.
In addition to the hex "dump" of a sector's content, an
option exists to see a textual interpretation of a rigid
disk block's content.

USE OF THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART NOR THE
UNINITIATED.  Incorrect use can result in loss of a drive's
data.  It is especially advised that the program not be
used to alter the rigid disk blocks of your main (or only)
hard drive on your computer.
