This is part of range of packages designed originally for use with DVD-RAM
drives, which has now become useful for other types of drives.

This is a CLI Shell program that tries to find out what kind of interface a
device can support by sending requests and examining the replies.
It tries to do this as safely as possible but because of the way old style
devices were designed, it may still crash your system.
