KaloPlayer v0.99 DEMO
This small utility was written in Assembly for playing Audio CDs in
SCSI-II compatible CD-ROM drives (SCSI, ATAPI, etc.).
KaloPlayer v0.99 is shareware, the registration fee is 10 DM.
In the unregistered some of the functions are disabled.
The user interface was designed using GadTools.
Functions:
· Conventional functions like
Play, Pause, Stop, FF, REW, Next, Prev, Eject
· Scan - plays the beginning of each song on the CD
(see also the tooltypes below)
· VOL - volume control for each channel
· Title - edit titles
(In the unregistered release saving is disabled.)
· M - the part between the two clicks on this button
will be repeated three times
· -- - manual track selection (0-99)

Tooltypes
The program reads its configuration from the icon tooltypes.
Device = the device used for the CD-ROM (SCSI, ATAPI, etc)
Unit = device unit number
SCANTIME = length of the scan function in seconds
Commodity Hotkeys
alt numpad enter Play-Pause
alt numpad * Stop
alt numpad + Next
alt numpad - Prev
alt numpad / Eject
alt numpad <track number> Play track 0-9
alt numpad .<track number> Play track 10-99 (keep pushing alt)
Installation
Manual Installation:
- Copy the executable to the destination volume or directory
- Make a subdirectory called DISKS.
- Copy the contents of the DISKS directory from the archive
to the newly created DISKS drawer
- Copy the cdpl.font to the FONTS: directory.
Registering
If you want to register, please send me 10 DM by snail mail.
I will send then the full version on a 3.5" disk.
Please allow upto three weeks for delivery.
