The textfield class allows you create an area on
your screen for text entry. The class supports a
number of features including unlimited or limited
text entry, specifying the font to use, specifying
the colors for different parts (text, background,
and lines), two types of borders (with option to
invert the borders for a total of 4 types of
borders) or no border, text left/center/right
alignment, vertical centering, and many other
options.
Version 3.0 continues to improve the ease of use
with double-clicking to mark words, SHIFT-click-
ing to extend-select, TAB to spaces option, and
a new function for programmers to easily get a
handle on the gadget's copyright and version
information.
Version 3.1 fixes: starting to highlight was
slow, speed increased a bit, alignment problems
fixed, autoinit/autoterm function enhanced.
