This package contains an updated linux plip driver to communicate with :

  NOTE : This is a partial update of the linux part of the magPLIP 
linux-amiga plip driver. You still need the content of the package 
magPLIP38.1.

  Download this update only if you want to link a LinuxBox running the 
version 2.2 of the kernel with an Amiga. magPLIP38.1.lha contains 
already all you need to link a Linux kernel version 2.0 with an Amiga.

 USAGE: 
 
  * download magPLIP38.1.lha from comm/net in Aminet and unarchive it
  * download magPLIP-lin2.2.lha from comm/net in Aminet
  * unarchive it in the same directory as mapPLIP38.1.lha

  * follow the instructions in the manual of magPLIP38.1 to install
    magplip on the Amiga, if you haven't already done so

  * follow the instructions from magplip/Linux/README to install
    magplip on Linux. You'll need the kernel sources and includes
    version 2.2.x.
