All politicians seem to get caught up in webs of their own creation.
Scandals that either rock their tenure in office, or emerge after
death.
Long after all the historical dust has cleared, these two American
presidents will remain part of the historical record of our times for
very different, compelling reasons.
In life both contested for the highest office possible. Both achieved
their fondest amibition. One suffered immense tradegy. The other
immense disgrace.
United in death I wonder what conversation they may have. Both were
brilliant men. I think almost anyone would want to listen in. Start
the tape recorder now.
