DONATIONWARE - This is the full featured release of MakeHTMLMap
(no restrictions, no nerv windows etc.)
This piece of software is made for all people, who need in any way
help with creating HTML and/or JavaScript based Picture Galleries,
documented Photo Series or even a whole PHP based Product Catalog and
Onlineshop with product descriptions and price/unit (stock) management.
MakeHTMLMap takes some inputs, and depending on the desired MapType it
creates all the needed HTML, JavaScript and/or PHP files for the Gallery
System or for the Product Catalog / Onlineshop. These files must be
copied to your Website and you must set a link to it in order to make it
accessible for any visitors.
Of course, you can also hold the files of a Gallery on your harddisk,
if you just want to create an overview of all the pictures you've
collected on your System.
=> Program was tested by the german AmigaPlus Magazin and nevertheless of
its (back then) early development stage (v2.xxx) it got from top til'
bottom good critics and an overall rating 5 of 6 Boing Balls. Read the
test in AmigaPlus issue 9/2003 page 25.
=> Later on (v5.xxx) the german Amiga-Magazin (bundled with PCgo) printed
a short workshop for beginners using MakeHTMLMap to create a Webgallery,
you find the workshop in issue 10/2007 pages 14 to 16.
=> After extensive tests I can confirm MakeHTMLMap is also working fine
within the 68k emulation environment of AmigaOS 4.x

=> There is also a small sample Gallery in the Docs folder, which gives
you a first impression of the results of MakeHTMLMap.

SPENDENWARE - Dies ist die voll ausgestattete Fassung von MakeHTMLMap
(keine Einschränkungen, keine Nerv-Fenster etc.)
Dieses Stück Software ist für alle Leute gedacht, die Hilfe beim Erstellen
von HTML/JavaScript basierten Bildergalerien, dokumentierten Fotoserien
oder sogar kompletten PHP basierten Produktkatalogen und Onlineshops samt
Produktbeschreibungen und Preis-/Bestands- (Lager) Verwaltung benötigen.
MakeHTMLMap nimmt dafür einige Eingaben und erzeugt dann in Abhängigkeit
vom gewünschten Map-Typ alle benötigten HTML/JavaScript und/oder PHP-Dateien
für das Galeriesystem bzw. den Produktkatalog und Onlineshop. Diese Dateien
müssen dann nur noch auf deine Webseite kopiert werden und ein Link darauf
gesetzt werden, damit sie für Besucher erreichbar sind.
Natürlich können die Dateien einer Galerie auch auf der Festplatte bleiben,
wenn man das Programm nur dazu benutzen will, um eine Übersicht über alle
Bilder zu haben, die man momentan so auf seinem System gesammelt hat.
=> Das Programm wurde von dem deutschen AmigaPlus Magazin getestet und bekam
trotz des (damals) noch frühen Entwicklungsstadiums (v2.xxx) bereits eine
durchweg gute Bewertung und erreichte 5 von 6 Boing Bällen. Der Test ist
zu finden in der AmigaPlus Ausgabe 9/2003 Seite 25.
=> Später (v5.xxx) hat das deutsche Amiga-Magazin (Beilage zur PCgo) einen
kurzen Einsteiger-Workshop gedruckt, bei dem MakeHTMLMap zur Erstellung
einer Web-Galerie genutzt wird, dieser ist zu finden in der Ausgabe
10/2007 auf den Seiten 14 bis 16.
=> Nach eingehenden Tests kann ich bestätigen, daß MakeHTMLMap auch ohne
Probleme in der 68k Emulationsumgebung von AmigaOS 4.x arbeitet.
=> Bitte einen Blick in die beiliegende HTML-Dokumentation werfen für eine
Liste der Fähigkeiten des Programms sowie weiterer Informationen. (Ist
momentan nur in englisch verfügbar.)
=> Im Docs Verzeichnis befindet sich auch eine kleine Beispiel-Galerie, die
schon mal einen ersten Eindruck von MakeHTMLMap's Ergebnissen liefert.
