============================================================================

Architectures: Classic AMIGAs and WinUAE.
-----------------------------------------

  MINIMUM Requirements Are:-
  --------------------------

68EC020 CPU and 2MB RAM total, example, a standard A1200(HD).
       WinUAE Version 1.5.3 minimum.
       Standard OS3.0x install or better.

History.

Version 0.00.10:- Original upload to AMINET...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT NOTE:-
----------------

Read the shell script first before running to edit sections IF required...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

To install just download the "Arduino_Read.shell.txt" file and rename it to
"Arduino_Read.shell" without the quotes. Drag this file into the C:
volume, edit IF required, and...

From a Shell prompt inside the C: volume:-

Some Prompt> execute Arduino_Read.shell<RETURN/ENTER>

And away you go...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just a simple DEMO to show how to access, in READ mode, the Arduino
Diecimila Dev board using a default classic AMIGA A1200(HD) OS install.
A subscript ARexx program is generated on the fly inside this shell script
and used to grab a single byte from the Arduino board. Inside the shell
script is a URL to obtain a zipped file to build an add-on board to use a
the REAL AMIGA serial port built by myself to use that Arduino in REAL
serial mode as well as USB mode. Also inside the zipped file is the original
"*.PDE" file to program the Arduino board to see this working. Just use any
operating system that can run the Arduino programming SW and program the
Arduino using this "*.PDE" file.

(NOTE:- This "*.PDE" file might need a minor alteration for current versions
of the Arduino programming SW.)

Enjoy finding simple solutions to often very difficult problems... ;o)

    Testing Evaluation:-
    --------------------

All WinUAE and Classic AMIGA test conditions were/are running standard
OS3.0x/OS3.1x and using standard ~topaz 8~ fonts throughout.

I have no idea what strange configuration setups will create so refer
to the ~The Legal Stuff~ above.
